The True Cost
There are many reasons why the fashion industry is so polemically debatable. Some are punished for animal abuse, excessive fabric use and even inhumane working conditions. After watching this documentary and its entirety I must admit that it was very thought provoking. As I watched with my family I noticed my children had many questions as to why the people had to live under these conditions? We started looking at the tags in our clothing to see where in the world had they come from. To our surprise, neither of us had clothing on that was made in America. In fact, I had on a t-shirt from Bangladesh!
So I post this to say, I am more conscientiously aware of the cost that some pay in order survive. After watching this movie let me know where you stand with this. How does this make you feel? Please post a comment to share your thoughts....
