Why is it that the words, "we're separated, it's complicated," so confusing to some? Marriage is the formal union of two, typically recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife. I believe people hear what they want to hear in order to feed their greedy, selfish desires. Chances are you will hear a ton of excuses like, "I'm bored with the sex or we do not sleep in the same bed anymore." Well, if you agree to these terms then you are having an affair! Still, there are some who justify the ambivalence that the cheater won't leave them alone.
Do not be confused. For what ever reason you chose to have an affair the "spouse" is still married to someone. Not you! The spouse may buy you luxurious items but will never be around to enjoy them with you. You will be avoided on most holidays, birthdays or many events of importance to you. Think about your future and move on. Do not block your blessings by holding on to someone that's already married.
